Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the terms for cancellation and refunds for services booked through Arogya Pass.

1. Platform Fee

Arogya Pass may charge a small, non-refundable "Platform Fee" for each booking. This fee covers the costs of running our platform, including technology, payment processing, and customer support. **This fee is non-refundable** even if you cancel your appointment.

2. Consultation or Test Fee

The refund policy for the main fee (for doctor's consultation or lab tests) is determined by the healthcare provider (clinic, hospital, or lab) you booked with.

  • Patient Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment, any refund of the consultation/test fee depends entirely on the provider's own cancellation policy. Arogya Pass does not control these policies but will facilitate any refunds due according to the provider's rules.
  • "No-Shows": If you fail to attend your appointment without canceling it beforehand, you will generally not be eligible for a refund of the consultation/test fee.
  • Provider Cancellations: If the provider cancels your appointment for any reason, you will receive a **full refund** of any consultation/test fee paid online through our platform.

3. How to Cancel an Appointment

You can cancel your appointment through the "My Appointments" section in your Arogya Pass account. Please note that the ability to cancel may be disabled close to the appointment time, based on the provider's policy.

4. "Pay at Clinic/Lab" Bookings

If you chose the "Pay at Clinic/Lab" option, you only paid the non-refundable Platform Fee (if applicable) online. Since no consultation/test fee was paid to Arogya Pass, no refund for that portion is applicable from our end.

5. Refund Processing

Any eligible refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account. The non-refundable Platform Fee will be deducted from the total amount refunded, where applicable.
